The Ahwatukee Thunder Volleyball Club is exploding into its 2nd season as a girls' volleyball club. We started with one team in the summer of 2011 at the Volleyball Festival and achieved the 2nd highest finish of any Arizona team in the region. We are expanding with a 2nd team this season and hoping to build on that success.
Ahwatukee Thunder strives to elevate every girl’s game in a fun and positive environment. We believe in simple concepts like developing skills, learning the game, being alert, respectful, and positive at all time. We promote competition in practice and matches and we believe in open communication and teams goals before individual goals. We work and play as a team, and expect all of our players to participate in that manner.
During the 2011-2012 season, we will hold practices at the Altadena Middle School Gym on Monday and Thursday evenings from 7pm to 9pm, and occasionally at Court One in Tempe.
